This section of my site deals with Top Hat style chapeau.
Top Hats normally meant to cover one's full head usually tall and almost never rounded (that would make it a bowler) My top hats are usually smaller meant to be worn up front and tilted to the side.

This little lovely is a interesting style of hat. It is a bit of a mixture of driving, bowler and flat backed hat. The hat has been blocked by hand and is made from black wool felt. The hat comes with a lovely bit of purple feathers and some beautiful French ribbon. The brim on the hat is reinforced by wire to help keep the shape. This hat is meant to be worn forward on the head and at a tilt. The hat comes with two loops one at each side for elastic to help hold the hat on the head.

Like Clockwork is one of my production runs of hats. This neat mini top hat is made all by hand. The hat is constructed of double-sided buckram with wire sewn in around the brim to help keep it's shape. The hat has been covered with a cotton fabric and is also lined with a cotton fabric. A lovely strip of exquisite European ribbon has been spun around the crown. The hat measures 8 x 9 inches on the brim and is 6 x 7 inches on the crown which is about 19 inches around. This beautiful crushed velvet top hat was made by hand. The base of the hat is made with sturdy buckram and wire around the brim to help keep the shape. The hat has a lining of cotton fabric. Some lace and trim add some simple but lovely accents to this top hat. It is meant to be worn at a tilt and is not a full size top hat. (Click on the images to the right to see larger pictures!) Another mixed top hat. It has trim, lace, fishnet and fabric all over the hat. The top hat was blocked by hand by me. The hat is made of Black wool felt. The hat is not lined as It is fun to see all the stitching. The brim is reinforced with wire to help keep the shape! This hat is Unique and it will be the only one like this I'll make. The hat comes with two loops one on each side to help secure it. (use bobby pins, elastic or ribbon)
